Replacing The Print Head On The IJ-80, IJ-90, IJ-110, IJ-15K, WJ185, WJ220, WJ250, WJPRO

In some instances you may see instructions regarding both an Ink Tank and a Print Head. These are separate units contained within these machines.
Definitions Of Ink Terminology

 

The following instructions refer to the Print Head only:

Print Head

1. Open the top cover and print head cover. The Print Head will automatically move forward to the "replacement" position.

2. Press on the front of the Print Head in order to release it.

3. Remove the Print Head.

4. Insert the new Print Head.

5. Lock it into position by pressing down on the rear of the Print Head.

6. Close the print head cover and top cover. The Print Head is automatically reset to the "protection" position.

7. The new Print Head is now installed.
